I wouldn't say we have gotten a lot of snow this winter. (Of course, there is still plenty of winter to go.) It was delightful that it snowed on Christmas Eve so we woke up to a white Christmas.
I try to take some pictures when the kids go out in the snow. (At least once. Then I try to avoid the cold.) This particular day we had a good couple inches. We had more later but no camera time then. Really, I'm saying that you get what you get and you don't throw a fit. (Speaking to my kids mainly.)
Ivory went on a mission to make the perfect snow angel. That smile says she is happy with her creation.
I think it turned out pretty well.
And bonus. Ivory can now use the extra snow as camouflage.
There was a bit of snow being thrown about, as happens with kids.
One child got some snow in the face. She was not happy. And sadly, I am not a very sympathetic mom. If you are going to play in the snow, plan on getting some snow on you. In general, I could work on the soft/cuddly side of motherhood. (A lot.)
Pearl never saw this snowball coming. (Luckily it didn't matter since June doesn't have great aim.)
June's turn for an angel.
Haha. Someone took advantage of her vulnerability. Surprise attack from Ivory.
Robyn snuck out the back way so she didn't have to deal with her sisters. I found her though.
Powdery goodness. And it is always fun to be the first person to make tracks.
Another snow angel. Apparently it must be done.
Makes me cold just to look at those pictures. I wouldn't dare try to make a snow angel - it would take four people to pull me back up again! Looks like the kids had fun.
