Because each work of art was based on a song, I'm going to include a link to each song. If you want, you can pull it up and listen to it. You might hear a song you've never heard before.
Let's start with Robyn's art. First up, Human by the Killers. Are we human or are we dancer?

Daisy did a Disney song, Reflection. When will my reflection show who I am inside?
Also, Daisy made this awesome shoe, but she said it went with last week's movie theme. Sorry, no song for this one.
But this fun whiteboard drawing by Daisy goes with Owl City's Hot Air Balloon. So let's spend the afternoon in a cold hot air balloon.
I really enjoyed working on my piece. I tried watercolor pencils for the first time. I love this song, Waves by Dean Lewis. We watch as our young hearts fade. Into the flood.
My other piece was inspired by the great Parry Gripp. We love his songs, including Neon Pegasus. Spread your wings neon Pegasus and go flying through the night.
Pearl had some fun songs. I love this perler bead fish made with Abba's S.O.S. Can't you hear me S.O.S.?
This picture comes from The Greatest Showman, The Other Side. Twelve, maybe nine...TEN!
Heavens, this next one is a crusher. I am warning you to listen to this song at your own risk. Most of my family cannot make it through without crying. Which is probably what inspired Ivory to do a rendition of Streets of Heaven by Sherrie Austen. Well, it must be kind of crowded on the Streets of Heaven.
June brought us back to Owl City. We listen to lots of Owl City. It all started with this song, Fireflies. A disco ball is just hanging by a thread.
And finally from our family, a video of Robyn and Ivory singing Waves by Dean Lewis. Like I said, it's a favorite around here. We have the piano music and some of the lyrics were printed too close together. It said, "Hard tolet go." So the girls changed it to say, "Toilet go." See if you can hear them with their silly accents and bouncy singing.
Now we jump over to the Hulse family. They came up with some excellent pieces as well. You can tell our taste in music is different. I love that each family has songs that everyone knows and sings loud. Everyone needs that.
Beth has sentimental songs, starting with Ireland by Garth Brooks. Ireland I am coming home.
Next up, a good one by Patty Griffin, Making Pies. This is Monday and we're making pies...
The Hulse's have introduced us to new artists, including Parry Gripp and Britt Nicole. Jane did a picture depicting headphones from Britt Nicole's song Headphones. Love! Is coming through your headphones.
Jane also did a picture for the song This is Country Music by Brad Paisley. Jonny said it has his favorite first line of a song.
Maggie had some great pictures. I love this picture for Mud on the Tires by Brad Paisley Let's get a little mud on the tires.
Here is a classic, Every Rose has its Thorn by Poison. Good job Maggie.
Speaking of classics, everyone seems to know Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. Great choice, Henry.
This is a great song and a great drawing by Henry showing Africa by Toto.
What a fun sample of songs. Jonny rounds it out with some Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler. There's nothing I can do, a total eclipse of the heart.
Eleanor made sure we didn't leave without a little John Denver with Country Roads. Country roads, take me home, to the place I belong. (Sing along.)

We had another couple outside entries this week. (I love when we get those outside our families to participate.) June told her best friends about the art and both made something. Hannah Keen entered this awesome piece inspired by the hymn, I believe in Christ.
Christina was on a similar theme with this beautiful song entitled Walk Tall, You're A Daughter of God by Jamie Glenn.
