Blind Self Portrait

Robyn has been doing some interesting projects for her school art class. I believe this project was for school, but I'm not exactly sure.

Robyn was interested in the idea of disabilities and art. She obviously relies a lot on sight, but what if she was blind. How would that change things for her? She decided to paint a self portrait while blindfolded.

She got all her stuff situated. She also kept June nearby to help her get the right colors.

She time lapsed a video of her picture. I like it because you can see where some parts of her face went in, but they were later covered up. A reminder that you can only see the videos in web view. You can't see them in the phone version. You can't see them at all in the blog book. Sorry kids.

Such an interesting idea. A bit messy in the process, but that is fine.

I can tell it is a face...maybe not Robyn's.

Peace, my fans. Robyn is so creative.

She happens to take a lot of selfies on her phone, which is the ultimate self portrait now days. Check out this beautiful girl.

It was indeed an interesting idea, but I think in the future that Robyn should keep her eyes open while painting. Thank goodness for sight!
