(February 22nd, 2022 & March 14th, 2023)
We interrupt the Jamaica posts to do a current event. Pearl got braces today. But Daisy got them first, actually a year ago. I'm sure by now, you have noticed that she has braces, but we should still do all the documenting.

Daisy had an epic gap in her teeth after the expander. However, her front teeth were actually coming back together nicely before she got braces. She still had to get them though. Even though she hadn't even lost all her baby teeth. (She be a slow loser. Hmm...that sounds rude, but you know what I mean.) Here is her lovely before smile.
The mouth opener is the worst. I have distinctly unfriendly memories of that apparatus.
Not too bad. The smile is still cute, but not as genuine. But I don't blame her.

Only a year behind, it was Pearl's turn. (She has lost all her baby teeth, thank goodness.) Smile...you're about to get braces.
Pearl also hated the mouth opener. I would actually be surprised to find someone who enjoys it.
Gotta choose colors carefully.
Green because it is her favorite color and almost St. Patrick's Day.
These two braces cuties are adorable. It's nice to have someone who understands.
