Sayonara Tree House

When we last left off, our intrepid heroes were working on demolishing the tree house. Not to be outdone by wood and nails, they came back the next weekend to finish the job.

It's looking good so far. I still feel a little bad about taking it down. I can only imagine all the work that went into putting it up.

Robyn and June were the main workers on this trip. Walls are rapidly disappearing.

Nice work ladies. Now it's just a stage in the air. Good for backyard theater.

Dad was obviously helping and supervising all along the way. When you need the big guns, you call him in.

The last platform was a little trickier. It just wouldn't come off the tree. They managed to turn it and it stayed there for a while.

Tyler worked on his end trying to get it to come loose.

Okay June...you push and I'll pull!

Yay, finally!

The other three girls were busy with other odd jobs around the house. Those cookies aren't going to eat themselves.

I was not there that weekend (don't worry, I was working hard at home) but Tyler took good care of his crew and made sure to feed them and keep them happy.

After cleanup, you can see that there is no longer a tree house, but there is a sizeable pile of wood next to the house.

You the man Tyler. Another step in the right direction. As you can see, Tyler has built plenty of character doing projects like this throughout his life.
