Another month in the books. The chatbooks are some of my favorite posts because they are rather random and there is a great sense of completion and accomplishment as another month is tucked away forever.
So let's jump right in...
We picked up some masks from a neighbor who had many to give away to families. They were sewed by many individuals, and we think that perhaps this one was put together incorrectly. Or maybe it's just extra protection.
Christina had a birthday and June was able to attend a small gathering with her family. They did the balloon popping over her head. What a great activity.
Foot henna...super cute.
This face is amazing.
Let's do our monthly Nova pictures. She makes a good head rest or snuggle buddy.
Playing dressup. You can call her agent N.
Some of the positions she ends up don't look that comfortable.
Give me that, she growls. She's playing and I like her little teeth showing.
She really is quite foxy.
Daisy braided her braids that she wore during our Salute video. They look very thick and exotic.
Pearl lost a tooth on Daisy's birthday. We were driving to get balloons and she said it was very wiggly. So at a stoplight I leaned over and pushed it in a different direction and it literally popped out of her mouth. I'm glad she didn't lose it in the car.
This peapod of mine is so stinking cute. I love her so much.
Birds on a wire. Classic.
We switched Midgard around. I really wanted to redo the whole room with new carpet and redecoration, but I'm kind of giving up on that. But the room still needed to be swapped because there is more seating on one side. It is much better now.
This was an almost attempt at a Dad joke. Tyler's hair does make a great mustache.
I love this smattering of clouds in the sky. What does it look like to you?
This was an almost idea for the Pit shirts. I sure love this octopus with all his different percussion tentacles.
The girls did a Secret Sister exchange in lieu of Girls Camp. They had fun leaving their gifts and collecting others. I loved this picture that Robyn drew for Annie.
Here's a little horror shot for you. I think it was just a bloody nose from Ivory, but I loved that she took a picture of it.
This cute deer was found in the house. I like her crimped locks.
Ivory got some new orthodontics. They are called buttons. They go on the inside of her teeth and bands loop around them and try to correct some alignment. I don't think they hurt but Ivory said it took her tongue some time to get used to having them there.
The purple ninja struck again. Can you guess which child this is? *
June was practicing one day in a dress and I thought she looked so pretty.
Jane and Ivory were making zucchini bread and accidentally started grating a cucumber instead. When they realized their mistake, the cucumber needed to be put to good use.
And that's it. A simple July with not too much going on as we spent most of the time together at home. In some ways it was a very relaxing Summer.
* Ivory is the purple ninja. Those are her baby blankets around her head. She still has them; Crabby and Soft.
