Here's a short sweet post for you. The youth did a fun Murder Mystery night. It was right after Halloween, so it was a struggle to pull together some more costumes and dress up right after I thought we'd finished all that. But we had everything we needed on hand, which attests to how many costumes I've bought over the years.
The theme was Fairytales, and although they couldn't call them by their Disney names, you could tell who they were by the description. Daisy dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood (which actually hasn't been taken by the Disney franchise yet.)
Pearl was Jasmine.
And Ivory was Snow White. (We've gotten so much use out of that dress that I picked up at DI one time.)
The girls had a lot of fun. I didn't attend the activity, but there was much clamoring over the hand of Prince Charming. (Hyrum) Ivory ended up being killed because no one liked her and no one guessed who the murderer was. (Ryder) It sounded like a fun evening.
Pearl took some fun selfies since she was really digging her blue eyeshadow.
And naturally, since we had our first real snow fall of the season, Ivory had to do a photo shoot in the snow.
They all looked lovely and had a good time. Murder Mysteries are so fun. And the Fairytale theme was perfect for the youth. I think Ivory won best costume, or best character. She certainly looked the part.
