Because Pearl is not on an official competition team, she doesn't have official meets, but the gym is really good about doing mini meets so the kids can get a feel for how it would really be. This meet was basically the same as the last one, but I'm happy to show off my Pearly Pea again.
First up: Tumbling
Pearl is fairly patient waiting in line for her turn. I think she was last this time around. She looks like she is in the middle, but they are rotating through.
Pearl did a great job. She is getting pretty good at her back
Second Event: Double Mini
Pearl has some great straddle jumps and I love her hair flying on the tuck.
Last Event: Trampoline
I think Tyler took the video while she was doing her warm up, but they were mostly the same, so you didn't miss anything. Pearl is getting pretty good at all her routines.
Last time, there were no scores and no winners. This time they had each kid accept their medal (of participation) and come stand on the rise so parents could take pictures. Pearl is quite the poser.
They also had score cards this time. It was good to see how they are doing. Pearl got all gold stars. There were also silver and green.
Pearl never complains about going to the gym. I think she has found a good groove. I hope she can make a higher team next year so she can learn some new tricks.
