Seamus is Back

I haven't kept track of Seamus like I should. It seems that some years he is here and other years, he's on walkabout. Leprechauns...can't keep them in one place for long. (Only a hundred years or so.)

We still dutifully put out gold for our Leprechaun, or any of his friends. Quarantine had already started, so I wonder if any of the wishes made were about seeing friends again or hoping people stayed safe. We don't share our St. Patrick's wishes...that would jinx them.

We dropped our coins from our foreheads into our makeshift pot of gold. (It is possible that I didn't decorate for any holidays this year. All our St. Patty's stuff was safe in storage along with our pot.)
Does it really work to hit the back of your head?

Family photo....where did Daisy go?

We left our coins out and hoped for the best. In the morning, we weren't disappointed. Seamus (ever the puzzle lover) had left us some treats and a new code. It was a zigzag code and very fun to figure out. (Although everyone told June she needed to wait five minutes. She figures things out too quickly.)

We had a pretty darn good St. Patrick's Day. We all wore green. Robyn did some face paint for those who wanted it. It was a day to celebrate our wonderful Irish heritage. (And yes...we have some. We aren't just adopting. But that doesn't mean I'll eat corned beef and cabbage. Sorry mom.)
