Christmas Maker's Market Solo

(December 4th, 2021)

This post doesn't have a twin, but only because the Maker's Market was canceled this year. Which is really a bummer, since the little craft fairs are my favorite and often have hidden treasures that are perfect gifts.

We went last year since Mrs. Wagstaff set it up so that the Advanced Girls Choir would be singing several songs in their courtyard during the entertainment portion. She had them singing some Christmas songs, but she also opened it up for some of the girls to sing solos. They had to audition and Daisy was chosen. She didn't audition with a holiday song, but it was still a lovely song. It was super brave of her to sing. You can tell she was a little nervous, but she did great singing Cleanse You by Calee Reed.

I also recorded Breath of Heaven that the choir sang together. Lovely.

You have to love Daisy's gap in her teeth. She is just the cutest.

We also had a really good time shopping at the market afterward. Some Among Us, we checked out books by Johan Twiss (I finally read one of his books this year) and one of these years I'm going to get some hot chocolate.

Now I can just hope they bring it back in 2023.
