This is Only a Test

This here is my first test. You can see the lines in it as I exposed each section longer to see how many seconds would be optimal. I told Tyler it was a test picture and he said, "What happened to it?"
"It's supposed to look like that," I said. It should get slightly darker going from the left to right.

I didn't have time to do the finished product, but I thought you might enjoy a taste. I am loving this class.

It looks so cute! I am so jealous that you get to take the class for free. You will have to tell me the instructors name and if I could ever take a class I would love to take a photography class. Good Job!

You are making me long for the days, oh, so long ago, when I was having lots of fun in Photography class. Unfortunately, by the second semester, I was having a bit of trouble showing up for class because of a certain boy, who shall remain nameless. :) And I'm still waiting to have that darkroom of my own.

Love the picture! It must be nice to have such adorable subjects so close by!

I have wanted to take a photography class for so long! It's definitely on my list of things to do. I think it looks great. I can't wait to see more of your work. How many seconds did you decide were optimal?

I started with 6 and added a second for each line. I think I am going to go with 9. My instructor said that with portraits you should look for the one which makes the skin look most realistic (considering it is black and white).
