I figure it can't hurt to continue to praise my husband for what an excellent father he is. First, it is the truth, and second...he really likes to hear good things about himself. (Probably whether they are true or not...because he will most likely think they are true no matter what.)
But Tyler is a phenomenal Dad. His parenting tactics may reach into the strange arena sometimes, but I'm sure we all try inventive methods to keep the crazy at bay.
Tyler likes to do Father's interviews with his kids on the first Sunday of each month. I am not allowed to listen or be in the same room, so I don't know much of what goes on, but I was smart enough to figure out some of the activities this time around. Tyler came downstairs looking like this...
I figured he allowed each of the girls to decorate his face in their own special way. And I even correctly guessed who drew what. And then I added my own personal touch.
June- butterfly
Robyn- Pirate patch
Ivory- Sunflower
Daisy- Beard
Mom- Scar
I couldn't ask for a better father to my girls. They all adore him.
Me too.

Holy cuteness, and what a great thing to have for the girls, personal time with their dad every month. Keep it up, guys.
Good thing he didn't let Pearl have a go at his face - he might have been unrecognizable! Or he might have lost an eye in the process. I'm very proud of all of you.
