A Bird by Any Other Name
I think one of my favorite stages is the sounding-out-words stage. Robyn came home with a color book that she had written and illustrated. It went something like this:
I can see a blue sgui (sky)
I can see a green forist (forest)
I can see a yellow flawr (flower)
I can see a raimbow
But my favorite was this one:
