I can't say that I am thrilled about it snowing today. It seems natural for it to get colder in October, but not THAT cold. I told my nephew on the phone today that it isn't so much the cold that is annoying, but the lack of preparation in the middle of October. If I thought it was going to snow, I would have my winter coat on, but instead, I am caught out in the nasty weather wearing merely a long-sleeved shirt (hardly winter attire). I just need to remember that this is Utah. I should expect snow at anytime, even in June (yes, we have seen snow in the summer).
But the onslaught of cold weather does bring one of my favorite pastimes with it--drinking hot chocolate. And how is this for shameless product placement. I really like Stephen's Hot Chocolate. I love that it comes in so many different flavors. I may never drink regular hot chocolate again. Our family favorite at the moment is Irish Cream, but who knows, it is just the beginning of the season. Happy cold weather to you.

Utah is so unpredictable when it comes to weather. Just on Friday it was so warm outside than next day it's snowing. Winter isn't my favorite time of the year but I do really really love hot chocolate.
a sister in my mission received some mint hot chocolate (stephen's of course) and i must say she was quite the popular one when we all found out. i guess there is one good thing about colder weather - hot chocolate.
anyways, you are all so cute! i love checking up on the new recipe and everything. Adura Felt just emailed - i think we need to get together sometime. enjoy today - its a bit warmer!!
