PF, the Thankful Turkey, 2019

It is so fun that we have continued the Thankful Turkey tradition for so many years. Each year a different person designs the turkey. Last year was Daisy, so this year was Pearl.

She was looking through turkeys many many months ago and she came across one that she thought looked creepy. June lovingly called it PF. Pearl asked, "What does PF stand for?" And June said, "Pearl's Friend."

Pearl was shocked and annoyed that June would call the creepy turkey PF, but apparently it grew on her. Because when November rolled around and I told her we needed to do a turkey, she said, "I've already picked him. I'm going to do PF."

For the record, I think PF is quite cute, although his head size is huge compared to our previous turkeys. 98th percentile to be sure.

As usual, we were all thankful for many things. And the girls spent the whole month reading through the previous turkeys. It is good to look back and remember. Which is why I have a blog in the first place.
